Yes i know thats why i bought the 2nd one!

they do say you can never have enough horsepower!

yes butd ont ask me what they were..

i changes exhaust seal, tank seal and then had kickass tune it to a base setting then i starte dto lean it on the track and now its so quick

im not used to the power its putting and my laptimes got faster!

Looks same as non tuned really..i guess it must just have port timing changes
I modified the sleeve on my evo 3 with the same teardrops as this one and i belive it has increased the flow of the engine already.

The thing is you can't really tell in the picture of the "matched Piston and sleeve" and also the raised exhaust port timing, and noticed the cooling head is machined which will have better contact patch against the head button resulting in better heat dissipation.

I notice that the crank has 2 extra turbo scoops adde and the original on carved out bigger.
Can anyone explain why this has been done and what performance advantage it gives?

While it takes up a lot more room i think that the flow would be less restricted than some other headers!

Must have had an air leak in there somewhere as the only thing you changed was the seals!
Kickass does know how to give the needles a tickle!!

The crank not only have the 2 extra scoops but also have a bigger bore if compared to the 1st version JL Red Dot, the scoop aids in a more evenly distribution of the atomized fuel inside the crankcase giving it a snappier throttle response.
