INS box RB .12

I purchased a INS box for my RB R3 engine. The reason is track is dirty when testing and its in the rules as 2009 all .engines must run a INS box.
The INS box I purchased is a nova rossi. There is no way it will fit on the engine.
Has any body else had the same problem. A mate has a Nova Rossi 12-3sct and he says it fits his no problem.
Maybe have to change engines to a Nova

The nova one has a slight dent in one side for your carb needle, and you can grind it away some more and make it fit the engine (IDM/picco)

But, there is NO way it will fit under my body. (stratus 3.1/kyosho rrr)

Maybe you should try the Mugen INS box, it's physically smaller than all the others and fits .12 engines with no problems.

the airfilters they use are also smaller, and some people t hink it restricts the air intact slightly:o

I believe this is the airfilter they're talking about. The Mugen Airbooster.

We used these at the nats in 06 here at Crystal Park. Helped with the runtime issue as well.
