Default SIIM Engines

From - http://www.redrc.net/

Looks tempting.....

The first engine to be released from Spanish company SIIM Racing’s new engine line up, as we announced last week, is the PGR S12T touring car motor. Made for SIIM by Italian company Star Motor Engineering, who make the Sirio motors, this new engine features a 5 port ABC liner and a 12mm crankshaft, with extra work done to the porting to improve fuel flow, while externally it sports a black crankcase and a branded gold cooling head.

Are all manufacturers bringing roughly the same engines, but only under different names on the market?

It is the most simple way to get a fast engine under your own name. MAX, Mega, JP, R&B, JL, OFNA, Crono etc. All have engines made by the 3 ruling brands in topsport: Novarossi, Sirio and Picco.

But the question is if you do have all influence in quality, materials, timings looks etc. Indeed if you pay enough that should not be the problem. If not then you will get a normal rebadged product line motor.
