Default Best .18 engine????

What would be the best .18 engine to put in the new Assoc. Mini MGT that has just come out? The engine in it now has side exhaust, rotary carb, and pullstart. Thanks.

if you want to stay with that configuration, OS makes a very good, but budget minded side exhaust engine that will fit the .18 CV-R...very good engine for a lil under $100...

if your talking any .18 on the market, yes the .18TZ is always a solid choice...the only thing i doent like about the TZ is i have never been able to get any life span out of them...

in a lil bit here i am going to be testing the Go .18 in my revo and in my CRT.5 and as soon as i have some good testing done i will post results...

Thanks for the replies Jason. OS does make the 18TZ with a rotary valve carb also. What kind of problems have you had with it? Where is the best place to buy the GO engines so I can check these out. Thanks

the main problem ive had with TZ's is that they loose compression after about 1.5 to 2 gallons...

i think i may have the only Go .18 in the us at the moment, being russell said this is the first one he has ordered in, and there is not alot of info on this engine at the moment...i think the only place i have seen any info on them is at russell's web site www.racefactorindustries.com, doent go off those prices being they are retail not street, the .18 should go for around $140 to $150 USD, and can be gotten with a bump back cover...

The best engine to buy is the one you can afford and are happy with, what one person likes will be another mans poison
