I have been running Murnan Modifieds all year and all I can say is "AWESOME" The power band is super. If you have a chance to get an engine modified or purchase a new one modified from Murnan.......do it. You won't be disapointed.

Grub,
Eli and Bobby are both correct. Uriah Murnans engines are simply the best you can bolt into your chassis. If your looking for a serious power gain across the curve, good fuel mileage and craftsmanship of an artist pick one of your choice. Besides the fact, he is a gentelmen and very easy to talk with.
Trust me, if everyone that has run a Murnan Mod Motor posted their positive experience the thread would get bogged down.

Which particular Murnan engine have you been running?

Also what pipe did you use with it?

Grub- DON'T buy a Mario tuned ninja... you will be very dissapointed! Lose there tune every 2 minutes.. 4 minutes of fuel milage..and not any quicker than standard ninja!

I am buying a Murnan this week..just undecided on which one to get, as like you, I just want the fastest. If the 359 Nova one came seperately without the spare motor..I'd buy it!

Yer, that was meant to be my "gun" motor... but the engine is at ninja now getting bearings done under warranty as they didnt last 2 litres of fuel.

I'm still undecided on what to get now too...Murnan seems the goods, but the JP Eagle seems tempting..havent heard any reports on it though yet.

Default Murnan Motor

I would really like to get a Murnan motor.Email him a couple of month ago and get instant reply.Very nice and informative guy.My only concern is the Nova base engine that Murnan mod.I have been running Nova engine all this while. My only problem is the crank pin on this motor. Its just wear off very quickly.I own a HotMod Plus 21-3 and after every race bearing and con rod will be change the motor has gone through about 1.5 gallon of fuel. Its does have some freeplay on the crankpin now with a new con rod.

I just want to know whether I did something wrong that lead to the wear or its just normal wear and tear.

Hi Uriah,
Ran the other motor in that i brought off you, and its an absolute ball tearer. It is still running at only 105 Deg C and it hauls arse. Very very nice inside and your work is 2nd to none. Keep up the good work.

Uriah

I want to run the V6 buggy clutch in my fast car but they only make it for the SG crank. Do you know if you can get road engines with an SG crank?

Alternatively can you mod a buggy engine so it revs its tits off??.... LOL

I saw the Axial 5cc engine can do 38K I could use 2 of those instead of 3 x 3.5cc

Cheers

Hi Ziggy.
I had "something to do" with Axial 28 RR engines.
I can tell you if you tune that motor to top speed-it clocked to 39500 RPM, so it might be good choice to try on your project.
