Hi Uriah, I just brought 2 fully modified plus 12's off you recently, just wondering what they are shimmed for 30 or 16%? Also what temp and plug do you reccomend for these i live in Australia. I have tried replying to some e-mails that you have replied to me in the past and got no response so i am thinking there is some problem with the reply.

Regards,
Daniel

16% I use Novarossi 7TF. My temps usually run between 250-300 F.

What percent fuel do you usually use to break-in the Ninja 12's? Or does it even matter as long as the head is shimmed correctly?

Hi. I actually use Byrons 20%, with 12% oil for break in. I have found that the fuel really breaks in the metals nicely. Some of the higher level competition fuels can be difficult to break in engines on. The lubrication is too good. I certainly switch to a fuel with better lubrication after break in. Like Rocket Science.

The HSN should be out 1/2 turn from being flush with the needle housing. The LSN should be out 1.5 full turns from being flush with the needle housing. This means that the LSN should stick out past the housing about 1.5mm. I hope this helps.

Hi Uriah, can you give me a good starting setup for the Murnan CRF on 16% (already have the head shimmed out with 0,1 ring) LSN, HSN and spray nozzle?

Thx
