Sweet Randay! Can't wait to see your car on the track. You and Michael can compare notes.

* Michael won the Ninja combo at the banquet.

Default Modified Ninja .12 Track Test

I have posted a review on my website if you are interested in seeing how the Modified Ninja performed.

So here's the question on my mind. Modded JLR Picco Red Dot, Modded Ninja, or modded Sirio STI? All are around the same pricing currently. What is the better of the 3 engines? Or if that's too broad a question what are the pros and cons of each? Thanks

hello grinder....

I just read your comments about the engiens at the winternats.......

very impressive the rpm range of the JL Red Dot engine, altouugh it sounds impossible to me......
taking for a example the Mugen MTX4 with stock gearing......60mm tires......with this engine at 50,000rpm the car reaches almost 120km/h which is impossible at all, not even the 1:8 can get close to this speed on Ft. Myers.....

at the Ifmar Worlds in Brazil the top speed measured with a radar gun was 109km/h and the straight is 70m long slope down......

OK. What speed would 50K get you at 56mm tires? The perfect size for qualifying at FT. Myers. We tested the engine rpm in the car, and it hit 51K rpm with no load. We let off. Maybe it did not hit 50K exactly, but it was close, I can tell by the note. That is what it says on my website. Sorry if this sounds alien to you, but it is true. No the car was not going 75mph, probably somewhere in the 62-65 mph range with 56-57mm tires. This was on 30% nitro, not 16%. Maybe it is impossible for your engine.

this can be an actual value, still stupid fast, the engine should be reving at 47,000rpm on the track considering the mugen with stock gearing........

I'd really love to see this baby running, it may be strong enough to kick some .21 engines........

I'll be going to the 1:8 PreWC in Cordoba tomorrow, hopefully our engines reach this rpm

Tried to call you Grinder: I was at the back straight running the radar gun during the qualifiers and mains. Most all the cars in the A main drivers were running 59-64mph......with Paulo running 64 in both qualifiers and main. Roberts car ran a fastest lap (on the few I ran the gun) of 62mph and averaged 59. Just some actual data, as I was running radar mainly on Baker, Paulo, Robert, Mike S. (in 1/8th) and a few others.
