Ill probably wait till you have the Ceramic ninjas back in stock. What % nitro do you usually have the heads shimmed for when you send them out?

I have a murnan modified sirio 3 svo sti, I was wondering from the people who has this motor what are your setting for the LSN and HSN, I know they will differ from motor to motor but Im just trying to get a base line. When the motor came the LSN was out pretty far past flush which the HSN had to be turned in a little far to compensate, I always thought that the LSN should be flush and you tune from their, but I may be wrong so thats why im asking. the way it is now the engine is running fine at around 250-260 but again I was just wondering so if I have to retune I can do it. this is a awesome motor and I just want to make sure im doing everthing right.

thanks

I was wondering about the LSN as well but someone told me the ball end is different from the older Sirio carbs so it looks as iff the LSN is unscrewed all the way. In actuality, the LSN is screw in past flush with the other ball end. The temps sound about right. As long as you are making good power, good runtime, and checking the glow plug for proper tuning, then everything is okay.

hi robert,
want to get an MM sti and wanted some feedback from you
how did the sti perform robert?
was there power all through the range?
was it easy to tune and hold it well??
was it hard on tyres with the high power output?
any info you can share will be great thanks
cheers
joe

Power was plentiful.....very easy to tune...more mid and top...tires wear would be direct result of the track i wouldnt worry about that... Hope this helps....I would recommend his full ceramic version

Default Crank

Maybe you can answer a question I have been pondering for a while... would it be beneficial to use a crank from a Top TSR12S5 in my Rex RER12S3? What would the major difference be, if any? I thought I heard that there was more timing in a 5 port crank but Novarossi does not list that information.

Thanks,
Jim

Hi. I will be stocking several of the buggy engines soon. Late next week we will have the 21-7bt, Ninja B01 modified.
What other off road engines do you think off road racers would want to see?

The 5 port crank is lighter, with a bigger center bore. It is faster.
