[QUOTE=El Buenote BRG]I see that you are testing the new Xenons from RB. So are you going to give a try to the new Matrix(.12) line up from RB? I like the reliability of the RB's engin
I can't wait to get my hands on them! It is just a little harder to get RB engines than most others in the USA. In my opinion.

Great to hear that Chuck. We have all been missing you. Remind me about the parts again please. I must have forgot, it has been too long since I have seen you. It's been months! Get yourself well, the weather is increadible in Atlanta right now for the next couple of months. The best time for racing. See you at the bowl.
Call me today.

Grinder,

What are you running in the Fall points series? 8th scale or touring? Are you still modding Mega ZX12 since they changed the rod design?

They were Mugen Part nos. H0148, H0149, and I think a sleeve and piston/rod for my JP R01.

I've really been missing y'all, too. It seems like years . But I've been following Drs. orders, and packing proteins...and it's working well.

Hi. I am going to try and have stock on the Xenon after the 8th nationals. The date will be mid October.

Hey what's up. I will be running 8th scale first, and sedan at some of the races just to test engines. I do mod the Mega ZX12. I do not stock it yet, but I will soon enough. I would still change the new rod each gallon. See you Sunday, the weather looks great!

The LL3 will have a torquier feel than the LS3. The LS3 powerband comes on smoother than the LL3. The LS3 is happier at high revs, than the LL3. LL3 can be a little trickier to tune, and seems to run slightly warmer than LS3. Overall performance, I would say both are similar, just different powerbands. Both are extremely fast.

Hi. Yes I have modded that engine. The engine is extremely fast, but chews up rods like nobody's business. That is in on road though. Off road it makes a great engine, you can leave the engine rich and still have plenty of power. This makes the rod last a lot longer than in on road. The engine has tons of bottom end, and revs very high. The engine can be difficult to tune.

grinder thanks so much, thats good news to hear though, i will be putting an os cv carb on it to take care of the tune issue. i ran this motor last year in ofroad and it was killer. just had carb issues as you stated. but very strong indeed. will i need to send the os carb with it or should the carb be left alone

I prefer to have the engine and carb together.
