Hey Uriah.... the next time you're facing fuel consumption, do a try with a fuel with less content of Nitro (let's say 20 or 25% rather than burning 30% nitro), this permits you to run a slightly leaner mixture and you can easily grab those precious seconds to not need to pit (been there, done that and got an advantage). Try for yourself.

Hi. Yes, I got them. I will complete them this weekend. Corse R, I think the problem is due to the air at sea level, temperature outside, and the fact that you are almost always full throttle at Ft Myers. My driving style does not help either. I am a point and shoot driver. I bet if someone who is smoother on the throttle used the same engine, they would make better run time. I am still working on this aspect. All of the pending modified engine orders will ship on Monday.

Uriah

Yep.... 'suffered' those guzzling appetite for fuel two years ago at Ft. Myers. With 16% Nitro on my Nova NSR's, I could do happily 6:20 minutes with each tank, with 30% nitro I was barely doing 5:30.

Grinder did some excellent work for me for the nats. Had a screamer engine and ran a second for the main. The second was awsome! I was running 6m11s on 30% with temps around 230.
