Hi. On the USA version I mill the center passage from 7mm to a larger diameter . The crank is much lighter without losing balance. The runtime is not as long as a stock engine, but will make over five minutes, because the crank is lighter the engine has tons of torque and gets better fuel consumption than with the stock passage diameter (a lighter crank is easier to spin with the same force)

Grinder,
Very interested in what you do to your drag engines, both the 21 and the 12. I would guess there is a lot more you can do when runtime is not an issue.

Uriah: You say the runtime is not as long as stock, but then you say it gets better fuel consumption that with the stock passage. I must be confused because it seems as thought you have contradicted yourself. Either way I don't care as long as I get 5 mins on my track.

With the same timing, the lighter crank gets better consumption.

Hi Murnan! I would like to ask what kind of silicone do you put in the crank? I have a jp engine and the silicone inside the crank disappeared. Thanks!
