The Novarossi 2015, and hipex 2069 both work well on the engine.

Just wanted to Thank Murnan for the 2 modified engines I ran the last couple of weeks
FNS State Race Qualified 2nd missed the Tq with a small bobble using O.S.2103 Murnan Modified motor has tons of power awesome mid band power just keeps pulling like a 3rd gear
Pan Am Race I have not ran sedan in along time ran the O.S.T1202 Murnan Modified results were not in my favor but this motor has so much torque & its like a top fuel dragster down the straight I had to chase setup to adapt to the raw power of this engine
Thanks again Murnan
Highly recommend these Murnan Modified engines

At Homestead the track has a 300ft straight we ran 5:30 using Maxima 16%
We tested 3 pipes O.S., Nova, RcTarget pipe which is Hipex all pipes performed very well

Default Which Murnan Modified Motor to get?

Hello,

I currently use a stock Novarossi GT5/17. It was originally a 2016 spec which i upgrades by changing the piston, rod and sleeve. It a very good and fast engine.

My track is very technically(tight, hairpin corners, asphalt parking lot) and that is about 3/4 of the track(Accelerate and brake). The other 1/4 is a straight away which is about 120-150 ft. To paint a better picture the average time on the track for GT is 18 sec and the straight last no more than 2-3 secs.

The guys i am racing with are using off road engines such as OS 21XZ-B VII. They are very very quick in the technical section. i believe due to the extra torque, their cars launches very quick. On the straight i am good but i cant make no mistakes in the technically section if i want to maintain the lead. no matter how well i set up my serpent gt 3.1 clutch i cant get that launch or acceleration. i have tried xhard, hard and medium springs, carbon and yellow shoe, steel and alu clutch bell, and different gear ratios and engine tuning. i am using Nov 41032 manifold and tesla 2139 pipe(i tried Nov 51010 pipe as well). The best operating temperature for me is 280-300 degrees. and once it stops its the hardest thing to re start. The bottom needle is a bit lean in order to be competitive in the technical section.

i need a engine with excellent bottom to mid range... top end can be ok because my track doesnt allow me to even use the max power band.

Please HELP me find that perfect engine... thanks in advance for the suggestions

The Murnan Modified Novarossi M5GT is awesome. It has good bottom end like an off-road engine, but also has awesome top end. The unique exhaust port shape helps give it that characteristic. (No other engine has an exhaust port like the M5)
It goes great with the Novarossi 9886, or 2015. For extreme bottom end, use Novarossi 41031 manifold. 41032 manifold for more top end power.

What would be the difference between a NOVMITO-35GT5/17 and a Murnan Mod NOVMITO-35GT5.

Good Morning!

I have a question about the MM Mephisto. Does the motor come set for 16% or 25% fuel?
