I am checking with the new importer to see if I can get one. It seems nova doesn't offer the virtus head separately.

Hey guys, i'm going to be buying a murnan modified virtus .12 here in the next couple weeks and I was just curious what the life is on these motors? Can I run it for 2 seasons or with the modifications, are they only good for one season?

Also, how well does the nova hold tune compaired to the picco worlds motor that murnan offers?

thank you!

Kyle

The modified virtus is just as reliable as the stock version. If you use good fuel, the engine should last a couple of seasons. It will need a rod change every 1.5 gallons of fuel. The bearings can last between 4-8 gallons before needing replaced.

My modified Picco WC, and virtus both hold a tune very well.

Excellent! thank you so much! I cannot wait to get this motor on the track and get it all tuned up! I'll have to keep track of fuel usage and order parts as needed.

thank you!

When we send a new engine in, do we send it still wrapped in the plastic or do we need to remove items first?

The engine does not have to be wrapped in factory plastic. I would recommend you to put the engine in a ziploc bag for shipping, if you have opened the factory sealed plastic bag.
