Hey Uriah, i wanted to know if you carry that conical header for that Mugen pipe. If you don't, who does. I need one badly.

I don't have just the header, but I will check on that for you.

Post mugen in-line pipe

Hey Uriah, do you think its ok to try to repair my header with jb weld. I tried to heat up the header to straighten out the bend in it, and the flange where it goes on the engine exhaust port came unsoldered from the header. I tried to heat it back up using a small propane torch and alluminum solder with liquid flux, but all it wanted to do is bead up and roll off. The header must be made out of some special alloy plus alluminum. Do you know anyone that repairs these headers. Please reply, if you know anyone. My email address is ctankersly@bellsouth.net. I bought another pipe, its a RD Logics, Hara Edition Turbo II in-line. Looks like a real good pipe. You have a Happy New Year.

Hara Edition pipe? Didn't know they had that. It should be the same as the plain Turbo II pipe, no?

I have used JB weld and it works for a while. Don't use a blowtorch, it may melt the weld that holds the baffle in. The best suggestion is to get a new pipe.

Hey Uriah, what can you do with this?

I got this email from Rick Wilson today:

"Regarding the exhaust port hieght question.

This was an oversight in the rulebook. A addendum will be posted on
the websites and sent out for the rule book.

Until that time consider this email an official notice that there is no
restriction on the exhaust port for the .12 fuel engines for the
Winternats and all ROAR sanctioned races.

That means that you#re going to see some really fast engines which will make approx. 3 minutes on a tank of fuel.

Are you going to Ft.Myers Chuck?

That's what I'm doing up aat this hour, I'm sleeping all day, then getting up to leave for the Fort about midnight. They're having the first race on the new pavement this weekend.

Oh! (be kind now) I'm driving an 8th scale MRX3,ex Terry Bryant car. OOOOOO these things are fun!

Stefan is correct, raising the exhaust port too high will cause run time to decrease. The ft is already notorious for fuel mileage, but I have some tricks up my sleeve Hey Chuck, I know you drive fast but you better leave around 10-11. Don't want to be late again. I'll see everyone in the morning
