Hi,

Whats the difference between the tuned and mod? Are both using 11.5 crank? Thx!

Both crankshafts are 11.5mm. The tuned crankshaft is not lightened, the timing is less than the modified, and it has different flow work. The tuned makes less power than the modified, but gets better fuel consumption. It still makes for a fast engine.

Hi Uriah, what do you think of the tuned reds racing .12 engine compared to the novarossi pts .12??

How does the 2668 pipe and manifold work for the Nova .12 flash and 353?

The reds has less bottom/midrange, but has more up top. This is only by feel. I have yet to dyno test the reds engine. I was loaned one for testing.

It works very well. It seems to make more power on every .12 engine so far.

the 2630 for me is an empty pipe in sense that let the engine put crazy rpm.

I only played with the engine for one day. This was a couple of months ago.

It is possible that timing was changed in the engine by the factory, before it was released to the public. This could easily give the engine the bottom, and midrange to keep up with the Novarossi engines.

If not, I can do it.

The engine is worth a try. It has enough bottom, and mid. The extra revs are nice to have vs the pt series. The pt series has tons of bottom, and mid. They seem to go flat in the high rpm though. At least in stock form.

Does this go for Picco based engines as well?
