Sorry that happened to you. That's why Nova went back to the larger crankpin size. That was happening too fast on the small crankpin 353.

Hey Uriah how are you? I just have what I think is a simple question. In most situations which of the 2 motors would you rather have in your car? MM plus35 or MM flash?

Wassup Charlie?

Can't speak for him but give me the +35. Makes more power everywhere except the absolute top of the power band. Screw the last 5 feet of the straight, give me speed everywhere else

But then again, I like tire spinning, gear stripping, belt breaking rip. If you like a bit smoother motor, you might like the Flash.

Yo whats up Sean??
Just starting to look at the motors for the 2010 season. Yeah the 35 is a track ripping motor! What about fuel consumption? I wonder how close they are, being that the flash is a more smooth motor and all??

I think the Flash does slightly better on fuel but haven't messed with it much. I have pretty much given up trying to make time on most big tracks. I run just as quick with a stop and don't have to worry about it.

I only got to run it once before winter hit and unfortunately I destroyed it

Before that it was absolutely beautiful. The best working car straight out of the box I have had since I got my first MRX-3. Really looking forward to taking it to the nats if I can just find a new job.

The 2010 Novas are around the corner the new Flash is called "special" not sure yet as to any major internal changes. I think a 09' 35 plus should be at the top of anyone's engine list.
1. 35 plus tuned
2. Flash tuned
3. Kangaroo

Hey Charlie, what's up? So that's the secret to your speed. You've been running Murnan midified motors.

That's a tough call. I have run both many times. I prefer the MM 35+21 due to the low end snap. The MM Flash has more midrange, and gets slightly better fuel consumption than the MM35+21. I can make time with both engines, if I drive properly, and smoothly. If I yank, and get crazy with the throttle, they will both run out of fuel. Stock, or mod. I have both ready to go for myself. The 35+21 is also cheaper.

If you are smooth on throttle try the 35+21, if not try the Flash. I can make the same laptimes with both engines. They just do it slightly differently.

It's all good. Wow that engine from Poo must be at least 5 years old.
