7601 is 7601, meaning only Novarossi makes it and package under different brands, you must be doing something wrong.

I did something wrong, because now it's fine. Thanks to Sam from Kamikaze hobbies for emailing me back and forth until it was right.

I use the hotter plug if the engine seems to be loading up, and flaming when you come into the pits. Or it seems hard to clear out. You can tune the engine to use any plug. The colder plug will allow you to tune for better runtime.

make shore your conrods oil hole is face the rear bearing and the piston is not in back to frount as it will hit the crank on the down stroke

Can you take a picture of the two rods? Does the Max rod hit the bottom of the case, or the sides of the groove in the case?

That's what it "was" doing the first two times I tried it. I went back later and it's a perfect fit, not hitting. Must have been sleepy or something.

Thumbs up

3rd place at Turkish Nationals with my m353r

Break-in was not easy, the engine was very tight. I simply recommend getting your engine with murnan break-in option.

The engine has a very very smooth torque curve. Bottom end, middle and top end are almost same. It simply pulls at your command. I use a novarossi medium length 2630 pipe with mugen exhaust pressure cooler ( the one that look likes a big empty fuel filter ). Fuel consumption is high. Getting 5minutes at nationals was tricky for me.

Tuning m353r is easy. I must say I'm very very surprised. It has a nice sweet-spot for high-end needle. Low speed needle needs spending some time for fuel millage. During 1 hour a-main and qualifiers I did not have any carburation problems or unexpected flame-outs.

A problem-free, fast, easy to tune engine. Most importantly it is an engine you can trust.

Thanks grinder

Anyone know which Nova shims will fit the RB MatrixRW .12 motor? I've been told it's a Sirio based motor, but I can't find Sirio shims anyplace and the shims that fit my R3RC seem to have an inside diameter too small for the Matrix.

Default RBM3

The new RBM3 motor sounds great. plus I have been very happy with my MM RBR3. But is the RBM3 the hottest motor? Is it better than, for example, the MM Novarossi 353 2009, and the M353R modified?

Is there a new MM Novarossi .12 motor coming out soon?

I want the best one, which do I get?

Thanks.
