You turn the needles until it is tuned correctly! There is no such thing as optimal settings, if you are referring to counting turns. If you even know how many turns out your needles are, you don't know anything about engine tuning. Differences in fuel, plugs, atmospheric density, temperature, humidity, etc. will require far different needle positions to arrive at the same state of tune.

I've only practiced with mine. It is the real deal! I'm just getting into scale and its plenty of motor to get in trouble with. I'm more than happy with this mill.

hi anyone can help me with my question?
i'm running this engine, is the low end needle suppose to be very far out?? i had mine tuned to the screw out from card about 1.5mm, but engine is running ok.. am i running too rich ???

what header and pipe do you guys recomend for this engine to run on a big track?....(301 raceway)
