did i get an ok engine?
ok well i'm a noob;
i had a sudden fancy of building a nitro/petrol car, and so went on all the main manufacturers websites and then dealers websites and came up with some prices. hideously expensive. so i had another strange fancy of building one out of parts, so i went on ebay and bought a kyosho .12ci engine inc exhaust, brand new, for £45 ish. did i make a good decision?
thanks,
joe

usually (but not all of the time) car maufactures don't make good motors. Get a motor from a dedicated manufacture, and don't be cheap. If you are just bashing around any motor that moves your car should be fine.

It has built in mounts that won't match up to the HPI chassis. Sell it.

i've changed my mind now i've got it. it came this morning.... it's got a tuned exhaust, non stock, and its really cool... a nice peice of engineering. i'll find a way to fit it in the rush when i get the chassis
