engine not starting
Hi,
I'm hoping that someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I decided to go with a new pullstarter after mine popped out when I dismantled my new engine. The engine had gone into lock, probably flooded. Now, I'm having the same trouble. With the glow plug in the pullstart is very tight but OK when I take out the glowplug. The engine may have been flooded, but can't be now. Could the engine have damage ? As it still pulls without the glowplug is that an indication that the engine is still OK ?
Please help.

Remove the glow plug and give a couple pulls on starter to release excess fuel from the engine. Tilt you car so any fuel in your pipe will come out of the stinger. With that being done you should no longer be flodded"Hydro-Lock". By removing your glow plug, there is no longer any compression in your engine. This is normal. You might have a bad plug or dead ignighter.
