Picco makes the latest Picco .12 engine in several fashions.

Original Picco:
Picco P1R Evo3
Picco P1R Evo3 Edoardo Picco Modified (Factory Mod called Edo Evo3)

What you would call designer, or made under specs based on the P1R Evo2:
IDM
LRP ZR Team Spec3
Ofna JLR Red Dot
Mega ZX DSII+
Trinity Drake Edition
Nosram NS
Solaroli

There could be others, but this is what I know so far, and all of them are very powerfull and competent engines which incorporate new lighter cranks, new carb, new conrod, new piston/sleeve, and new head button.

There are 5 drivers with JL Red Dot Engines in the A main of the Airtronics Championship held recently at Revelation Raceway with Jeffrey Lin
(JL himself) taking the 1st spot and Walter Diaz finished 2nd also using a JL engine.

man, I really want a new engine and this is so far the best choice for me under $200 which I like, but thats keeping me from it is the fact that I don't know if its fast.

I might be racing against people with OS Speed .12 TZ's and Ninja engines and I don't know if this engine will keep up with them.

It will, and even outperform the ones you mention, and you may include JP's, Sirio's and Fantini's. At least mine does here at my track.

Coming from you, that's a very strong recommendation. I guess I know what I'm going to replace my CRF with.

BTW... When you say JP's, are you including the full-mod JP's with the ceramic bearings.

Yes JP-TO3M full ceramic....The JLR has more bottom mid power....and the JP maybe a tad more high end....but then, most of the track is the inside, so little by little you pull away.

well I just placed a $320 order with nitrohouse and the JLR is included in that bill, so I will soon figure out how fast that engine really is, I hope im impressed.

Quick question, Im going from a Novarossi .12RS S1 engine to this, it should be a huge improvement right?

that rossi was only a low-mid end engine.

All I can say is, this motor made my car a missile at my local track this past weekend. Very easy to break in and runs strong all the way through the rev band.
