Are the motor you are getting in at Kamikaze a "new or "different" model or revision than what is allready available? or is it restocking the current model that has been available for some time... Thanks!

If your interested I have been working with the picco motors lately with quite impressive results. Im starting to offer my services to the RC-Tech community and can modify it for a fair price. I even have the ceramic front bearings for it , if you want to upgrade the prone to leaking front bearing.

LMK via pm.

Steve,
Yes, try a different gearing, you'll be surprise with your top end, I have seen your motor run at the 301 race and you are keeping up with the more expensive modified motors, it is actually ballistic

JL = $179.95
JP = $450.00
and it is just as fast, or better yet faster.

Not sure what car you have, but for a 720 the correct gearing for that motor would be 18/59 and 23/55. 61mm rear tires with a 1.5 split. Make sure your shift point is correct. This affects any motors performance a lot.

If you want your engine modified contact me. I run a modifying buisness and my prices are more then fair and the work is top notch! I havent advertised much here on RC Tech as i dont wanna step on toes but ive done alot of engines off other boards on the net. I just started offering my services over the internet almost a year ago.. Im very serious about my craft and do alot of R&D on the mods i preform. Not just pretty cuts here and there, but cuts and timing changes that are there for a reason.

PS. My X-Dyno should be here in about 3 weeks, so ill have some dyno results up for you guys very soon.

I just ran my JL and change the gears to 58/52 and you was right Nigal it is just as fast if not faster. I ran it up against the 12 pluse 3 and he couldn't even keep up. And we not even going to talk about in the infield. The engine is SICK.
