Default Choosing .12 engine?

wana conduct a poll btw 3 engines that i'm intending to buy.
saw these 3 engines recently, now deciding which one to get...

1. JP mod Novarossi NSR5
2. Novamax P3
3. Sirio evo2 'collari mod'

i don't mind getting a 3 or a 5 port engine.
any feedback and comments wld be appreciated.
thanks!

the JP mod nsr5 tt i saw was reasonably priced.
basically all the 3 engines i mentioned were in same price range.
that's why i'm still undecided which one to get...

from what i've heard, the older novarossi JP mods are better in terms of performance and durability than the FX series. any truth in that?
i've seen the novamax perform, bang for the buck engine. then again, the one i saw is the older P3 version.
the only one that i'm skeptical about is the sirio. no one seems to have heard abt it, it's an evo2 based orange head sirio with 'm.collari' engraved in the head. and it's the cheapest among the 3...

Go with the Novamax P3. You will have to take the time to break it in, and it runs cool, around 210, and also you won't have to worry about run time. All the power you will need. Don't go with the S3, it has a microcast piston and sleeve, I only got 2 gallons from mine before I replaced it. The P3 is a machined piston and I know 2 friends that have close to 5 gallons on thiers and they keep getting faster and faster.

You can also try the Mega version of the Max. It's called Mega MF, The piston is machined. Awesome performance. Winner of the 2006 Winternats

I think if the track you run doesn't have a long straight. Go get the OS 12 TZ.

You may just have to make the choice, because your gonna get negatives and positives for each!!! It's always a tough decision, because there are so many good engines out there.. But, that's a good thing..

paoloM,
i've not seen the mega MF engines yet,
shld be more $$$ than the engines i mentioned.
it does look nice tho'...
but surprised the mega MF is made by novarossi.

Do not settle for less than a MEGA MF or a JP FX 12 T03MT Ifmar guaranteed to smoke the competition

Hey Sam. How is going?
You make very serious statment-YOU GUARANTEED (personaly) to smoke competion. I am sure you will bring 10 races in row as sample where all 10 races were won by using JP FX T03MT Ifmar. Ok 10 races in row too much, let's do just 5 races in row which was won by using engine you mentioned before.
Let's count this year in chronogical order
Winternats-MEGA Fantiny
Airtronics-JP FX
PreNats-Palmaris PROFI
Las Vegas Grand Prix-JP FX
I gave you samples of pretty much big races from the beginning of the year and I don't see JP won all of them.
Hunh?

OH ! sorry Dam I Totally forgot about the PR 12 / Profi which is also one of the best
and also depends on who the driver is,like giving Adrien Bertin with an OS TZ he would have win with out a problem on a local club race,by the way ,the Winternationals 1/8 scale I believe is also a JP FX and at the Airtronics it is a JP FX =1/8 Expert , JP FX = Sedan expert even the 1/8 Amateur is also a JP FX

Hey Sam.
Just bring 5 races in row when JP FX 12 T03 was a winner, leave emotions-just give a facts-JP FX 12 T03 won 5 races in row-take races around the world as well. Only one thing put them in some order and don't miss any races between.

Sorry Sam. I made mistake-just check Mugen web site and found that Robbie was running OS motor. so now it looks like this:
Winternats-MEGA Fantini
Airtronics-JP FX
PreNats-Palmaris PROFI PR12
Las Vegas GP-OS
So again-no emotions and no insulting-just give to everybody 5 races around the world in row which were won by JP FX 12 T03.
JUST DO IT! PROVE IT!
