Sounds steep. Have you checked out the tz eb mods 3 port version? I have that engine and love it! Tons of power and trq.

www.rc-toro.com has it listed for 325....I use a regular tz for local racing and its plenty fast  ...so I would think the speed is even faster   |
Rc-Mushroom has it for $295, with about $20 for shipping...

I just broke in my motor today. Very fast with lots of bottom. One word of advise, when adjusting the carb, do really small increments when leaning the motor out. The carb. is very sensitive. Instead of doing one hour adjustments, I had to resort to half hour adjustments to get the right tune. Temp reading for my motor was around 230-250 with lots of smoke coming out of the stinger still. Good motor and I look forward to seeing what this can do against others.

Got my motor last weekend and I think I'm finished breaking it in. I took it to the local track today and was impressed with the low end. I am using Rocket Science 30% with and extra shim also. The motor when I finished up today was at 235 and it was great with torque and top speed. I agree that the needle adjustments are a little sensitive but i'm not too worried about that. I am using the original OS #7 plug too.
I do have a question though, it says in the manual not to use light oil after running the motor because the silcone in the crank can swell. I will be taking the motor out and opening it to clean everything and to oil the bearing. Let me know what you think. |

I will get OS 1040. This pipe is designed for 12 TZ. I tried skyline V12 and NovaRossi with my TZ 5 port. By far, OS 1040 has the best overall performance.
