Default OS .12TR

I may be getting this in a sedan through a trade. I was wondering if anyone knew is the .12TR preshimmed for 30% or I may just run a cooler plug and see how it works.

Unhappy OS .12 Advice on % and plug

Where I race (and I use that term, loosely), it's typically in the 90's and humiditiy is high, making the heat index nearly 100. For an on-road course that is farely technical, what %nitro and plug would you recommend as a good all round starting point (not pushing the envelope of performance)? Right now I'm just trying to get the car to run for the 5 minute heats.

If you have this engine I ran the R5 plug, THS .15 circuit pipe, and Odonnels 30% race blend. It works great and I can get 6-7 minutes on a larger not so techical course. Lots of variables come into play such as tuning, pipe, and how you drive. I see no need to peg the throttle all the time as that wastes fuel.

I'm running the R5 plug with no shim. No issues with backfiring or predetonation, but I will like to add the shim. A new .12 pipe is on the way as well.
