I'm almost sure Mega ZX 12 used by Tossolini and others were Maxy Modified engines...i will verify this with Maxy himself and confirm this

JP engines from Mike and Darin are definitely $500.00 full mod engines.

CRF's were stock out of the box engines, So CRF's performance vs cost is impressive.

This posting is going very much off topic
I don't care who drive what
We are here to understand the highs and lows of a new RC .12 engine
(or should I go to the Serpent post and brag how good the Team Magic is, and how it beats all at my club, and how 75% of racers at my club running IC have now switched to the G4S, no I wont as that is childish)
Please keep this on topic

The Orion/Peak CRF engine has proven it can hold it's own against everything else on the market.

And just so you know, there were NO Ninja engines competing at this event.

And were the Mega ZX's that serpent used 'out of the box'? Were they modified? Who cares! Was Chris's car faster than Josh's, I don't think so. They looked pretty equal to me! Chris simply had a smarter pit strategy and drove a flawless race as usual!

My hat goes off to Chris Tosolini and Team Serpent for an excelent effort and ultimately the championship! Bravo!

Ok, guys, I to like to see more affordable engines which can compete against these $$$ italian mills, but I was just referring to a statement that the CRF will outrun ANYTHING out there.......

No hard feelings, we share the same passion....

It seems that they indeed do,and I do like the technology used in the engine, but I still haven't seen one running here in Europe.........
Will they run at the European Championship?
And just so you know, there were NO Ninja engines competing at this event.
I know that now, didn't knew that earlier......
And were the Mega ZX's that serpent used 'out of the box'?
I know now they where, but who believes what I'm saying.....

Not me ...

But let me say this ... at last year's European championships, when Mark Green and Francesco Tironi both clocked the first 19 laps, both drivers were called to strip their engines at Tech inspection ... guess whose time were disqualified? No, it was not the Mega in the 710 .. it was the Sirio in the RRR.

The Mega ZX 12 engine that Chris Tossolini used is bone stock out of the box, only Maxy's engine is modded by Maxy
