LRP vs STS vs Nova
 

is it true that in .12 size that these are all the same engine, just rebranded? if they arent, what are the fundamental differences?

Not even close to being true.

Novarossi is made by Novarossi
LRP is made by Picco
I think that STS engines are made in Taiwan.

You might be thinking of Novarossi, Top, and Rex. Those are all Novarossi made engines that are all basically the same.

ok, thanks for that. by nova i meant novamega, not rossi though :)

Novamega is no longer a brand. It was a Novarossi based engine made for Serpent. They now use Mega ZX (picco) and Mega MF (novarossi). I hope this helps.

Not to hijack the thread, but there seems to be some Serpent engine knowledge in here... I have an engine labelled "ER 15" Looks like a _Mega, and it came in an Impact M2 4WD.

What is it?
