There is sparks park which is just off brice rd on the east side of Columbus. There is the factory in Jeffersonville. Both of them are indoor. Jeffersonville also has an outdoor track. Both have a hobbyshop but the one at Jeffersonville carries more on hand. The Factory runs a nitro program as well.

which kit did you get? I like the Highest Servos. Hitec and Savox both have good servos as well. Motor and speed control is dependent on you budget and what class you want to run. SMC makes some good batteries and they even have motors and I think they have a speed control as well now. Charger wise. I would suggest the Orion Charger or the ICharger but if your on a budget, you can try the hitec chargers. That's what I use.

my electric setup is as follows:

ESC - Hobbywing SCT Pro (used in both ebuggy and etruggy) and Hobbywing v2.1 used in my B5M
Motor - Truggy has Trinity Monster 1950kv and Buggy has LRP 2000kv
Servos - Highest in truggy and Savox in ebuggy and Highest in my B5M
Batteries - SMC
Charger - Hitec x4AC

im debating between the Losi 22 3.0 and the RC10B6D. I want to race stock starting out and would like middle of the road motor, esc, servo, batteries, charger. I dont want crap and i dont wanna start with top of the line.

Then I would look into the Hobbywing ESC and a trackstar motor from Hobbyking. I know of a few people here in town running that combo and its a good start.

I would recommend the highest servo. They are super quiet and have plenty of torque and speed. The quality has been great. Best bang for the buck servo. Still not as expensive as a hitec. The Savox servos are good but noisy.

Battery wise, you can go wrong with SMC. Just look for their highest "C" rating. You need that power when running stock.

If youre wanting to race stock then go Reedy M3 Short Stack 17.5 with a hw Just stock esc. and SMC 100C packs. servos I like Protek 100S they are 50 and they are great. id do b6d but that's because im a AE fan boy.

if mod then Reedy 8.5-9.0 with a Reedy 1000S ESC and the SMC 100C pack and protek servo.

if you plan to race at the factory I will be there to help!!

Also what battery should I use? 2S 3S 4S?

Also im very much leaning towards the B6D!!!!!

I have never been a fan of Tekin 1/10 products. But it will work! I know a couple of guys who like it. and for 1/10 buggy stock we use 2S shorty pack lipos

Lima, I'm in Kenton and never seen anyplace to run a car. I fun run at Rhodes on the weekends "On-Road 1/8th" But for racing or tracks I never seen one near us.
Old post I know but if you of a place near Lima let me know.
