Nah. They don't rev as hard and the fuel is expensive. I do want to try a fixed compression 4-stroke diesel. I think my little Enya .46 4-stroke will run on diesel pretty good. Fixed compression just requires changing the fuel composition to suit the engine's load.

Of course that's when I actually have time.

I know they aren't really performance oriented, but someone once said it can be fun nonetheless... I'm not really sure on that one though...

Sounds like a good plan with the 4 stroke, they sound great when diesel converted!

You should see the team race diesels.. there's some screaming diesels! It seems the Russians and Ukrainians have model diesel performance engines down to a science.

The hardest thing to deal with with diesels.... The smell. It sticks to your hands for days.
