Lol my r7 I turned once and never had to mess with it again. They just have some a.c. issues it seems. Switched to the werks b7 ports and b5 pro and haven't looked back since!

If you already have 2090 pipe, it would be much easier for wallet to hit the 2102.

I would definitely take a look at the Mitro 4. Another guy and myself were able to make 10 minutes on a tank of gas in nitro buggy A-Main both running the Mito 4. I was running a 6.5 venturi and still had what I feel was too much bottom end. My dad who has been a hardcore OS guy has starting running a bonito 21-7xlb and now is considering selling his OS 2101's and OS V-Specs.

Absolutely. Novarossi went through a bit of a rough patch with the keep off and the virtus engines but they've really sorted it out with the Mito. Fantastic engines in both the 4 and 7 Port configurations. Incredible runtime and super stable tune. You can also look at the Ielasi Tuned engines which are novarossi based and hand Tuned also extremely good. I would choose one over the OS or Reds any day of the week.

The pre-run engines have been bench ran and so partially broken in. You need to finish the break in process in your car.

Real question is it worth the extra 30-40 or is pointless

I probably would get a pre-run one. The novarossi's are super tight when they are brand new with no run on them.

Do you want the hussle to damage the rubber wheel of your starter box, burn up the motors of the starter box, heat up the engine that far until even the tank is melting and other problems you have to face when starting a tight engine ?

Sometimes you do get an engine causing all this but most of the time the 1st start before adding some heat is no problem. So yes, it is a question only you must answer.

Melting the tank?? You shouldn't put the entire car in the oven to preheat!

Well, we had once a very tight motor, we heated it up with a paint heating gun but my pitman did not see he was melting the tank as well. But lucky we are not the only ones, we have seen it more often.
