Default Reds Quattro clutch

Hi guys, can you run the kyosho clutch bell on the reds clutch? Or do you have to get the reds one?

Is the fit good if the original K one fits?

ok just looked up the reds CB's, they are 20 and 28 bucks. Any other CB's fit?

I know the novas fit. They all should fit but you might not be able to get the shim behind the clutch. Mugens there's not enough meat but reds and novas that I know you can run a shim behind.

thanks, they all fit but the gap is my issue. I want to get the shoes contact patch all on the bell.

So I guess I'm looking for the deeper bells.

I haven't had any issues with the contact. Never tried a K bell. I'd stick with the reds myself. No issues for sure

I recommend that you get the REDS DURABELL. The teeth of hat bell will last longer than the clutch shoes, and the shoes last forever! We have run the same bell at Psycho Nitro, AMS, Wicked Weekend (including full practice days at each event) as well as half a dozen club races. Money well spent.

So what kind of use do you expect out of clutch? A gallon?

The shoes last at least a gallon. You might be able to get a couple gallons pretty easy. I seem to change mine out before they are worn out due to preparing for a long main at a big race, or similar. The DURABELL will go for a good 4+ gallons.

So I am running on a mp9. Have you guys notice that the fit has a 1-2mm gap from the clutch to the front of the motor? To make it fit I have to run it without the washer behind the collet...this is going on a os motor.
