So did everyone give up on this engine or what lol? I've been trying to figure out a tune on this thing that will keep it from dying at random when idling. It doesn't do it if I have the bottom end fat but when I lean it out a little to get good response sometimes it will die on me say leaving the pits after a fuel up or if the car is on its lid for a few seconds. It has been real tempermental for sure. I've tried Drake's settings and tune from there. Just can't seem to find a happy medium on the bottom end. I've had two different fuel tanks on it and fuel lines. My RB motor I have runs like a champ on this car. I should mention fuel mileage sucks too. I'm running 30/9 byrons fuel with just a light smoke trail down the straight. It pulls good once its cleared out. Any ideas?

I have this engine as well. I think its been set to pasture....

I have maybe a gallon on mine. But like you said, its difficult to find a happy medium with the idle and needle settings. I even tried the 21J carb (that all the new OS engines use - TY2, Drake, Spec II Ty), and it still doesn't run like I want it to. I want an engine to come down to idle -- and sit there for days.

I went and purchased a EBIS Drake engine to keep up with the Millers.

What's happening guys? Sorry to hear about your challenges with the B2102 engine. If you like, I would be happy to look over the engines and see if I find anything wrong with them. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

skrichter- Have you run the B21AD yet? If so, what are your thoughts on the engine?

Adam

Hi. I have the same problem with my Os 2102. Bad fuelmilage, about 7-8 mins and stops when idle.
