Picked this up at my LHS for $79. Was looking for a cheap motor to put in 15yr old Ofna buggy. To my surprise my Ofna roto start fit perfect and the first couple break in tanks have gone well. If someone is looking for something dirt cheap to bash with this may be a good option. I'll keep this updated for anyone interested.

I don't blame you for getting the cheapest engine you can find for a basher buggy.
Mine is a Inferno MP7.5 an old girl but still a great buggy. I can see why it was the bench mark back then. I needed a cheap .21 for it, my LHS had a Dynamite Mach .21 sitting around..It was very affordable compared to some of my other racing mills. The whole engine is cheaper than a piston/sleeve set for my Novarossi.
Having said that that old buggy hauls ass, it's one of the fastest I have!
It's nice to have a fun/basher buggy that one can enjoy.
I should note that a good tuned pipe is essential for top performance with these budget engines. This particular one really likes the Jammin JP4. Giving me over 70KPH top speed on my street.

Thanks for the input. I was looking something strictly for bashing. I really don't want to spend a lot on buggy that was $299 back in 2002 when I bought it lol. I'm running the original pipe but have recently purchased a stock hyper 7 pipe that I'll be putting on this week. The original pipe is pretty beat up... And for $15 I can have a upgrade. You gotta love buying cheap parts as a upgrade.
Anyway still running the same Glow plug it came with after 5 tanks and this buggy hauls pretty good. Idle is rock stable, and starts up real easy with my roto start. Lots of fun and little down time. I continue to lean it out for more power....and temp are around 150-155 on a 60 degree day. I'll keep you posted.
