No lie, On my healthy 79 year old mother's life 1 hr 35 min idle 1st tank and I cut it off before I thought it was going to start leaning out. 2nd tank ran for an hour and still had a half tank left. Dinner was ready and you can't be late for that. Cruised through 2 tanks half throttle in the backyard. It's in the 90's right now so i'm waiting for it to cool down and then on to tank 3. Happiness is a good running nitro engine.

Rain kept me from breaking in this weekend. I am really looking forward to running laps with this puppy. I don't know how to explain it but.. It is like when you touch an apple product. It invokes a good feeling.

It's like the engine knew it was the 8th tank. What a great experience so far. Hopefully finish tuning it tomorrow. BRAAAPPP

Default Lipo fail

Well Lance unfortunately I lost everything my family and I worked years for , Over not watching my lipo battery when it was charging , Left it Charging in the dining room while I went to pick up my son from school, Thank God my family is safe . I lost my brand new completed buggy with my brand new Triton L4 and 2108 exhaust system And we had no Insurance on our home because it was built in 1947 and they said that it needed a complete update with the electric wiring before they would insure it which was scheduled to be done May 10th , Really sucks and I hope I can still piece a buggy back together and eventually get a new Triton L4 . But please everyone out there , Watch the lipo batteries and be safe . God bless.

Omg.....glad that your family is well. That's terrible news and a hard lesson.....but thank God no one got hurt. Thanks for reminding us all on what could potentially happen. So sorry for the unfortunate news.

Smile L3 was AWESOME

Hello everyone. I just wanted to tell you all about my Triton L3 and my experience this past weekend. I made the trek from El Paso, TX down to Hutto, TX last weekend for the Lonestar Nitro Challenge. On Friday practice was run all day, and from the second I hit the track with my car, the L3 was dead on point. No flame outs, not struggling, incredible gas mileage; the motor just never let me down. Even the group of guys I traveled with were impressed with the L3's performance. I ran the L3 with the 2108 pipe and the duo venturi. I also ran Sidewinder 25% Off-Road formula. I ended up 19th of 53 entries. I had a great car and set-up (RC8B3). I feel I did great, although I was caught up with crashes twice in the first lap of the B main, but that's no excuse - I did have a winning car.

Thank you Lance and TritonRC - I will never run another engine/exhaust combo. Easy to tune, powerful, and no hiccups.
