What wouls you recommend for the 5TR engine in Buggy.
- Picco Efra 2099 with stock manifold
- Hipex Efra 2034 with Hipex "c" manifold
or Hipex Efra 2034 with the stock picco manifold?
There have been many many version of the 2034 and they are very different from each other, best would be just try the ones you have and see what you like.

Very close but the 2108 has a tick more bottom end and runtime over the 2099. But the 2099 will def work if you already have one.

L4 and L4 are both 5 ports but the design is different which is why they are so very different from each other. You will hear buy hits or that from everyone you ask. In the end you just need to try something that has good feedback and see how it works for you. One thing if you buy a triton help is always a text or phone call away which guys really appreciate.

As far as tuning goes if you ask ask around and look at the feedback, most people who have tried a triton comment on how easy and stable the tuning is. There is a reason why some people say "best engine I have ever owned" that says a lot.

80% of people whop have tried OS plugs will agree the do not work well in the Tritons. Our own results from testing are similar.

Last week was RD2 for the Texas RC Pro at 439 Raceway in Belton TX.

Qual didn't go a as planned for Open Nitro Buggy..had very bad luck with other drivers. Started main day in dead last. So C Main dead last it is 10th...by lap 4 was in 2nd in a bump and was still pushing. Took the lead for a bit until i started to mess up and finished 2nd and into the B.

Started the B Main in last and by the 1st pit was leading. Went on to finish 1st to bump to the A pitting at 10mins

Started the A main in 11th took my time and made my way up to 2nd by the halfway point. Then my head started to play games with me as i said before the mains started that i was going to win playing the bump game. Well 2nd-5th started to battle and i came up on the short side of it and finished 5th. More of my own doing really but starting dead last on the day to finish 5th out of 35 is good on the weekend.

Triton L4 ran great all weekend with great fuel mileage using OS p4 OD 25% Speed Blend

I did have 1 flame out but that was do to a low idle and 9 gallons on the motor....bump the idle up and no problem

Default Triton

Has the chance to get out and do some testing with the Triton L5 today in my Tekno Truggy. L5 2099 pipe, 10 1/2 minute tank times and tons of power! That was on a pretty conservative tune being that I just broke the engine in a few days ago. Probably the easiest break in Ive ever done. These engines are absolutely amazing!
