Copy that, are the current 3&5 port motors going to be discontinued? What's in the works if one may ask.

Hey chaps.

Just to clarify, the Sportive range (3 port) in all the various guises (Bump Start, Pull Start and Marine) will continue in the range. Simply, we cant build a better motor for the price point.

The Pro5 is now discontinued, though it was a very good motor we felt it time for a change and had the option to work with Novarossi to launch the Pro8 Italia.

The Pro 8 hit our shelves yesterday and starts shipping today.

I believe so http://xact-rc.com/home/89-x-21pro8i...novarossi.html

It says 'double sealed' 07011 but I'd assume it's a typo and actually the 17011

Hell of an engine for 140 bucks though. I bet it would work great in a truggy.

We have some dispatching to the US this coming week though if you want to get ahead of the curve shipping is economical from the US.

I am not sure A main will carry these, they just dropped RC Concepts, and the Xact motors are on sale. I sent an email, but have not heard back, once I do I will post the reply from A main. Xact has offered to sell directly, yet postage and tax would be a bit steep.

Why did Novarossi make it a 6 Bolt Head like the Virtus? is that something Xact had requested? Would make finding a replacement a bit more difficult than a 4 bolt.
