Default Connecting rod question

Guys, I am trying to replace the connecting rod on my Bonito. The one I just received has R7 etched into one side and the other side has the number 14. The old connecting rod (still attached to the piston) has R7 etched into one side, but the number 13 etched in the other. Will the new rod I have still work?

Thanks for the help, Mike

Pretty much any Nova rod with an R anything on it will fit. R is the size, everything else is just a version number.
