I had a Franken Ninja with a 2060 pipe back then was getting well over 9min in buggy. Really comes down to preference. I would get both.

After reading the neobuggy review this engine seems to be he best of all versions of the speed engine. It will be interesting to see how it performs.

I would say 2090 pipe. It seems to open up every OS engine and give it a little more runtime. The 2090 was awesome on the JQ engines.

I don't understand some people its an OS vzb speed 2 with some new parts adapted to it (case/head). the short stoke speeds were awesome motors I did not care for the xzb so I just rebuilt my vzb when worn. then the price 400 seems fairly reasonable to me for the best of both worlds considering 450-500 is the going price for a new xzb v2 motor for the average joe. I currently have a a vzb, vzb limited, vzb pro mod and a ninja bo1a these r some of the best motors I have run!!! so I will def be adding this new vzb/xzb to my line up

I'm testing with a 2090, and 2060 just for kicks; the 2090 has been the best performer IMO on both the XZs and engines with these components.

Yep, IMO this is a perfect storm. I run a vzb speed still to this day and have been dreading the day when parts aren't available anymore. People don't seem to understand what money the DLC crank alone is worth. Rebuilds with bearings cost under $200 and the crank lasts at least 3 rebuilds. The idle, the sound the power of the vzb series is what does it for me and I expect this motor to be the same. This is my next motor without a doubt. I wonder if there will be protek branded pipes as well?

P.S. I never get walked down a straight I'll tell you that.

There's some serious bench racing in here.
I can't wait for The neobuggy review. It's got my attention. I don't like the badge but I do like the concept.

If you're fast on the bench you're fast on the track

You can win with a Jammin. How long it will last that's another topic.
