LOSI 454 UPGRADES?

I personally would not bother with a turbo head.. I've had a bunch of SH-based engines - LRP Spec 3, Losi 454 (those two are identical fyi..), Dynamite Big Red, Mach 427's and Sportwerks .26's, and a Nosram RS.30RR.. All were very good as is.
For the most power I had a JP-2 on my LRP Spec 3. It was silly powerful - but also silly thirsty.. Whatever the case, I don't think a turbo head is going to make any meaningful difference.. Could be wrong though - haven't tried it.. But I can't imagine why it would.. That RE11 is meant to be good on lots of engines afaik.. But seriously, I'd just save up and get an Argus .23 with pipe combo..

i put the turbo head on my 350. its noticeable but nothing to get excited about. but I only have a stock eight pipe. and keep in mind you need to use 25 or 30% nitro fuel with it and it gets more tricky to tune

Ok so I got to install a re11 this weekend. Car broke early so I only got to run 3/4 of a tank but I could tell the difference right away over the stock 8ight pipe.
