I'm running this motor with the same manifold, but a 9886 pipe.

Once it was tuned in last summer, I think I touched the needles once in the fall as the temps started coming down and the humidity started coming up.

Got about 2.5 gallons on it so far after the break-in. It still puts a smile on my face every time I pull the trigger.

Not arguing anything Elvind

I know the part has physically changed , I have had no difference in failure rates between older m13 bearings as opposed to newer cc0 & cc2 rear bearings , most of the issues are improper tune of a fuel that is already hard on bearings

Personally the only Os worth getting is the speed. The blue head Xz have the same problems as the older version with cranks wearing too fast. I have heard this from others that do engine work and have seen it also.

Being 3 to 4 hours of H.E.S. I would suggest dealing with Monty. I live 3 hours away and I have learned more in one year then the whole time I have been racing. A lot of us who race at crown and poor boy raceway can help u with any questions and tuning problems u may have. We are always willing to help out new guys, and Monty shows up at some of the races to.

My p5 was tight enough after about 1gal that it was still almost impossible to turn it over by hand, even when warmed with a comp-heat. Now, at about 3gal, it will turn over cold, but still has a lot of resistance right at the very top.

IMHO, the Ofna starter box is a fantastic box for any buggy. Many of the guys around here with the 8ight use the Ofna box.

I use this one with a 4S lipo and it has never failed me.

Yep, I got that very same box and I can testify it is good quality
Use two square hardcase lipo packs in it and they sit exactly locked in with no movement, so the box is pretty much perfect.

I had this one for 5 years before it went: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Two-550-Motors

It was also good. Always go for a two-motor starterbox, never a single-motor box - they just don't have enough ooomph.
