How strong is that engine on the bottom ?
I've seen one on my club but it don't seems like it have alot of power in the bottom, just on the middle to top it's start to kick up...
Is it strong enough for very short tech tracks ?
Or stick with the novarossi/ Orion ?
I like that the engine have kick ass bottom, that's my driving style.

Why do you guys need two separate threads for the Lutz edition, in addition to the one thread for Alpha engines? Can't you just deal with ONE thread rather than three?
No thread police, but come on you guys...

I got a lutz edition from Rex over at RW Mods where I put in ceramics and a minor crank mod. This motor is a beast. I love it and run it in my truggy at the moment. I am debating on running it this coming weekend in my buggy to just give it a whirl. But overall thus far have been very happy with it in my truck and have been able to keep up with some buggys that running Nova's and Orion motors in them.

I Also know the original head button design of the Lutz engines was wrong and it was causing the engines to guzzle fuel.... the factory has changed the button design and it has helped the engine get better mileage........With the original button the engine was a fuel hog for sure.....
The "newer" button that came out a few weeks after was an update Alpha wanted to add with a wider squish band than the previous button whichcan potentially improve mileage.
I know guys still running the old style button and getting great runtime and performance.
Just wanted to clarify there was nothing wrong with the first Lutz engines for those who have them.

There is a hotel about 10 miles from the track. $38 a night. Deffinetly wouldn't leave my gear in a car there over night that's for sure. Lol
