Default Stalling when under Throttle ?

Hi,

I have just bought a second hand Hyper 7 [with a new force .28 engine] and have successfully started the motor.

I have just run two tanks on idle and am now start to turn the wheels however, when I increase the throttle to 1/4, the motor stalls.

As a tank empties and the carb sucks up some air, it launches forward a metre or so so I guess it is running too rich ?

How do I make it leaner ?

Agreed. There are sooooo many scenarios that can be causing your issue. We can only offer so much info without actually being there to help you. It sounds like its starving for fuel to me which means the top is too lean. But, like I said, I am not there so can't be sure. You could easily be lead in the wrong direction so its best to read the suggested post. Read it two or three times if possible and you shall be fine. Let us know how it goes and happy tuning.
