Will the 4 shoe clutch be released soon?

My composite shoes are finally worn and need replacement after many gallons of use. Just want to see if I should wait for 4 shoe to come out before ordering replacement for 3 shoe.

could someone clarify the procedure for removing the grease from the clutch bell bearing, just ordered one of these and don't want to ruin the shoes right away.

Well, what I do, for the inside bearing I use a x-acto knife backwards to gently remove the seal and heat it up and blow out the grease. Then I use one drop of speed-x oil (TKO Bearings) blow about 75% of that lube out and replace the seal. I don't do much to the outside bearing as that grease will not enter the bell.
I would recommend TKO's RT (radial thrust) bearings and the Speed-X oil. The bearings may be expensive but with maintenance they will last much longer than the cheaper ones.

Cheers
Brian

So I used to run a Truggy on mostly high bite astroturf with the BuKu clutch.

Going to drive Buggy this year, any recomandations ? Can i still run the same shoes? Should i go havier/lighter? Using medium i thought..

Edit: Placed order for buku caps, clutch, and threadlocker. Will update after use. Getting sick of front bearing issues. Hopefully Buku cap solves my problem.

What front bearing issues are you having? I had one engine that suffered a rusted front bearing after running in the snow, but replacing it with a metal-shielded stainless/ceramic bearing from Boca fixed that problem for good.

Dont have issues with rust but leaks on the front bearing.
I will try the boca bearing next time. in the mean time i will try buku cap on a fresh new engine and see how it holds up

Use the two brass shims behind the collet to bring the flywheel clear of the crankcase
