Default 4x4 SCT Engine??

Hi guys ive been out of the Nitro game for a while now, been used brushless stuff the last few years...

Anyway im currently in the process of converting my Ofna Nexx10sc (scrt-10) over to nitro and was looking for some suggestions on what motor to buy, ill mainly be bashing with it, so im wanting something not over priced (max $200) that has good power and reliable...

Cheers in advance Clint

I would think that the little orange head Losi .20 would be worth a shot. It seems to push my little 10t around pretty well.

I'm guessing that required a bit of modding with the engine mount?..

A 4x4 1:10 SC nitro would be cool.. Of course a modded 21 is fun in such a truck. I'd wonder though if one of these cheap RTR .19's - like the Losi or Dynamite, would fit without modding?.. Basically, the engine from a Losi Ten-T?..

Yes, I took all the nitro parts from my Ten-t and installed it into my SCTE and before that I had an OS .18 in my Hyper 10sc

With no mods?

I wonder if such an easy swap is possible with an Asso SC10?... (Are they even tough?)

My Hyper 10sc was originally a nitro when I bought it. It came as a nitro roller, so I purchased an OS .18TZ for it. After that I bought an SCTE and a Ten-t to convert the SCTE to a nitro and have spare parts for it. I have since converted the SCTE back to elect. but every once in awhile I put the nitro stuff back in to bash around the track.

Just cheked, Nitrohouse still has the Hyper 10sc nitro kit and a RTR. I believe Jammin was supposed to come out with a nitro version but since the nitro SC never took off they dropped it.

CRT.5 is the smae chassis, and uses all the same parts as the Jammin SCRT nitro.

I picked up a complete Jammin CRT.5 Pro today, im gonna use it as a doner car to convert my Nexx10, The crt.5 has a Fantom FR12 in it, its pretty quick in the CRT.5 so im hoping it will move the Nexx along ok....
