Default Trying to get my 8ight clutch apart...

I got the clutch bell off, and the nut off the motor outdrive for the flywheel. But the flywheel seems stuck on there, I yanked as hard as i could with fingers. Do I just need to wedge it off with something, or am I forgetting something? Sorry, first time taking apart anything on a nitro car.

Take a tool and start tapping it off. You may have to hit it pretty good.

cool, didn't want to force it until I knew that's what it needed. I am a big n00b when it comes to working on these nitro buggies. Next step is sealing the engine and rebuilding the diffs....

A flywheel puller is the best way to get it off.

the flywheels a rather soft metal so if you do tap it off, like i do, do so carefully.....go side to side with the taps......it'll come free of the collet, eventually...........
