Default Starting question

I recently picked up a used motor from a local hobby store to try in my buggy before comitting to a brand new one.
I finally have the buggy all setup and all the required parts, glow plug ignitor is just on charge now. The owner used to use this in his buggy and said he didnt change the needles from when he last ran it which was in a local race.

Will a nitro engine start up from cold on a race tune? Or am I going to need to play round with the needles to get it to fire up?

hey malcolm,

I got it off Nathan from Frankton Models (easier to say local than North Island seeing as its mainly a US forum)

I think its actually the same as what you run in your serpent, a JS motor.
Hoping to be all up and running for this Sunday if the weather plays it part, and I dont destroy it between now and then!

Just gotta wait for the damn glow plug ignitor to charge overnight.
