This is excellent!!
unless you run on a really high grip surface, the modern .21 engines are overkill (in a buggy) a lot of people don't realize how much wheel spin they're doing most of the time.
any vids of mark pavidis at motorama? was he using it at the nitro challenge?

Click the features tab for some internal pics.
Well after using my currency calculator it should retail for 470.84

It makes 2.3 HP
With a 15.8mm bore
and 15.8mm stroke.

I say 2.3 hp is not bad numbers. If it gets the fuel mileage people are saying it will I'll buy the very first one.

It's a speed. It won't be cheap.

Never trust those numbers. There's not a .21 that makes that kind of power out of the box, let alone a .19. But I have no doubt that it will make plenty of power to push a buggy around.

Oh yeah I know when you put SPEED on it the price doubles. but hey that what you pay to get engines like this. My Cousin runs the .21 in his MBX6T and it is awesome and get great mileage too.

It must be an all new crank as the stroke is different to what has been in previous SPEED engines. Will be interested to see how this one performs!

Just judging by how things are usually released it looks to only be a SPEED. Usually the standard version is released first or they are both released at the same time, so I would say only SPEED. I could be wrong though. We'll have to wait n' see. Hopefully the US release is made soon.

i didnt read through everything, but to me this better explains the reason behind making the XZ engines a long stroke. Now having the older short stroke engine and the new long stroke they have more options for the future., hence this engine which im assuming is one of the older cranks with a new xz top half. idk if they want to go in this direction but they can also make a bitchin truggy engine using the new lower half with the older top end. I'm very happy to see this .19

Stroke is 15.8mm so this crank is all new.

I read all this talk about there being too much power in a .21 for a buggy. No one said you have to squeeze all the throttle out of it Im sure the .19 will be a great engine. Not saying the .19 dosen't but I'd still like to know I got the power in a .21 when needed. My opinion can change once I actually use one though.

It was top secret a moto but all I can say say is pavidis had everyone hands down except drake. But pavidis had more useable power where as drakes power came on mid straight away. We were all laughing at how pavidis was walking people down 4-5 car lengths down the straight!
