stoping your nitro motor

Heres what 1/2 throttle got me with using my thumb and a glove triple layered over itself on the damm fly wheel. Man theres gotta be a better way to stop these engines. Ill have to get the mad scientist on it.

Well im not calling anyone Stupid but, I would NEVER ever touch that flywheel unless the engine was at IDLE...thats just not too smart..LOL..

stop the engine..?? i almost always pinch the line.....this way i purge the fuel from the crankcase.......keeps that nasty HYDROSCOPIC fuel from hanging out around the bearings...........

I use a 1/2 stick of Dynamite,(just push that 4th channel switch, I have programmed on my M11, and KABOOOM!!!) it works pretty darn well!!

a guy at our track use to just stomp on the cars you should see the drivers crack up at that one

shut off power, tip car so it points up, thumb on flywheel. works every time. on a run away, which usually end up upside down after hitting pipe or wall, just step on the chassis then wiggle your foot into the flywheel hole to cut it.

I use a pipe plug tool, I believe its a Dubro part, that cost about $1 or so...place in exhaust exit and it shuts off engine with no issues.

I came up with this so BOO BOO could shut his nitro engine down safely ,it has a 34"teather and a belt clip ,,they work great if anyone wants one pm me !!
