I also have the dynamite 053 pipe and when held up to the 2013 or 2058 header they look almost identical in shape and length and also use 4 springs like the 2058 so I would try that and u will most likely get the exact same performance !!

053 is nothing at al like a 2013.......... 053 kills performance of a engine...a 2013 brings out the performance of a engine

OK SO I BOUGHT A NVISION 521R AND IT CAM WITH A BAGGY THAT SAID "UPGRADE KIT FOR ALL CRF ENGINES COMBUSTION CAMBER AND LOW SPEED NEEDLE" SO DO I INSTALL THIS BEFORE BREAK IN OR AFTER OR DO I NEED IT AT ALL PLZ HELP!!!

Very happy with this Engine
I bought this engine as my last stand for nitro. After being stoked about a Werks B5 that i saved for a big race last year, it went 1 race and then took a dump on me for the big race. Over the winter A-main had the 521 race on sale for $160 and I jumped on it. I put the upgrade kit in it broke it in just heat cycling it and running it around my yard. I am using the werks 2013 and an o.s P4 plug with VP powermaster 30%.Took it to the track and ran 3 tanks on a kinda rich setting and I love it! smooth and linear but with plenty of power through out the whole range and idles great. Super Happy !!! Thanks LM you won me back!!!

Anyone having Rich condition on a full tank to lean condition 1 minute before empty? Cycle repeats after it is refueled, even when warmed up..
I had this with my engine this weekend.. Fuel tank is good, and fuel line is fresh.. Only other possibility might be the fuel line inside the tank, being cracked.. This is on a D8T with stock tank and stock clunk inside..
Other then this the motor ran flawlessly and is a real ripper. a Bit of a fuel hog but I just went over the 1 gallon mark this weekend racing it. Also still running stock button and needle.. I will probably change that before next race in 2 weeks..

Has anyone used the nvision racing tuned pipe set thats on sale on amain on the 521r? Is it the 2013?

It stops in a split second, no air leaks. Can't get this thing to smoke no matter how lean go. It got up to 330 during the mains! Barely getting 7 min out of a tank. I switched from byrons 30% /9% lube to 30/11 lube to try and help. Using a dynamite platinum hs pipe and have tried the mr dp pipe too

To get smoke you don't want to lean the engine, you gotta richen it up (left turn) . Maybe you typed that wrong or I read wrong. 330 is rather warm....

Though, I do run a 2013 pipe on the 521r in my truggy for that little extra umpf as fuel mileage is not as important in that class.
