Default M2C Racing Variable Weight 4 Shoe Flywheel

I was looking for a great clutch, Does anyone run this clutch? What is the difference with this clutch and the ( effortlessAscendancy) clutch. Would this work great in a truggy?

I'm currently running the Fioroni Turbo Slider and too much slipping after long mains and runs.

I'm not sure of the difference, but i ran the M2C clutch in my Associated truggy and it worked flawlessly. I used the 1.0 springs with the medium aluminum shoes.

Ive only ran stock Mugen and the M2C. M2C is great with no problems, more options for setup and excellent wear (about 4 gallons). There is like 4 shoe types, 4 spring choices and of course the weights in the flywheel.

I am thinking of getting one of these 4 shoe setups to test vs the standard 3 shoe 1.1 setup I normally run

what would you guys suggest for max life and good performance in buggy?

This is the best clutch set-up on the market bar none. Having the variable weights means you can run this clutch in any vehicle with any engine and get a perfect set up for any track. You can smooth out a ballistic bottom end engine as well as preventing tire spin on loose tracks just by changing the springs and/or the weights. The shoes last forever, the prices are great and they dont need shims under the shoes because the flywheel is offset so the shoes wont hang up. Also it has the most bottom end snap of any clutch I have ever run. 4 aluminum shoes give you instant bite to clear even the trickiest of jumps. After trying may different flywheels and shoes, this is all I will run now. PM me if interested in trying a set-up. I am an authorized M2C dealer, and offer great prices to racers.

+1 I use the same setup in my losi truggy. Med shoes, 1.0 springs, no weights. Bought it to use with a Clockworks B5. Performs excellent.

Thanks Ohiofordfan.
Would you mind giving your basic setup for the clutch ?

Is there any issue with the set screws loosing up ? or with dirt filling the holes ?
Is it possible to quickly add/remove set screws on the flywheel without removing the engine from the car ?

i use this in my mugen mbx6t, and with a mugen bell, no problems! I run with all the screws and not one screw has fallen out or loose. You just have to use locktite.
I am using 2- 1.0, 2-.95 springs, it feels great.

Did you try to add/remove some screws ? I wonder if that makes a real difference ? And if people use this depending on the grip level, instead of changing other things (springs & shoes ,toe, anti-roll bar etc.) ?

I switched from a 3 shoe clutch over to this M2C 4 shoe system because of the monster power of my Clocked B5 in my truggy. As James said this clutch is da bomb diggety!! I ran it with all weights in during the outdoor season on loose conditions, and I'm removing the weights for a high-grip indoor winter series. The weights really do make a difference, and with 4 1.0 springs it hits and grips like crazy. You won't be sorry you gave this one a try

I run the 4 shoe 1. springs on my rc8T but the medium shoes seem to wear quick. Wondering what you guys are doing to get the great wear you are getting.

I have a jq yellow edition buggy with a os xzb . Will a 36mm m2c clutch set up work on this combo. Or is 36 mm only for pull start engines. Im trying to smooth out the low end punch a bit. Runnin a mugen 3shoe alum set up now.

If you're running the mugen setup now then you need the 34mm one. 36 will be to big and cause flameout. I think the 36 is just for Durango but I may be wrong.
